An improvised bomb exploded at the offices of Greek Nationalist party Golden Dawn, in the early hours of yesterday morning. The bomb blew out all the windows and those of an adjacent building and blew a big hole in a wall, but luckily nobody was hurt.
This cowardly attack is believed to be the work of a far-left, socialist group who cannot stand democracy and it came just after Evangelos Venizelos of the far-left / bordering Communist political party PASOK called upon the Greek government to ban Golden Dawn, a party that has members who were elected by the Greek people.
In a statement of defiance, Golden Dawn MP Ilias Kassidiaris said:
After the media war started on our party,we are now dealing with an explosion.Our answer is Golden Dawn will continue, no matter what other parties do, We will not stop, even if they take up arms against us.
