Professional footballer Patrick Ada raped a single mum who he met in a nightclub, Claims she led him on.

Woolwich Crown Court heard how Patrick Ada, a professional footballer who is accused of forcing a 25 year old woman to perform oral sex on him, told the police that she led him on.

The court also heard how former SPL star Patrick Ada, ignored the pleas of his victim that she made throughout her ordeal.

When Ada turned up at his alleged victims house, she had a friend around and the three drank Vodka together. However, after a few hours he got aggressive and kicked her friend out, demanding that they be alone together. His victim asked him to leave and he sent her a text saying, "I'm sorry, I was drunk". It was at that point he allegedly rang the victim's friend and said "I'm sorry I forced her, but she led me on."

He was arrested the next day at his club's training ground, where he initially denied he had ever touched the woman. However, during questioning he told police that he knew her type and she wanted to be with a footballer for a better, more glamorous lifestyle. He also said that the victim had invited him round for sex and that she threw him out of her home when he told her "Nice girls don't invite men around for sex". He told police that her friend was "Up for it as well".

He denies 1 count of rape. The trial continues.
